OK, I'm thinking about booking the Grand I for a birthday/"Wishes" cruise in December. It's an awful lot of money to spend for one hour (I would be working extra time at my job to pay for it) and I just wondered if anyone has done this and, if so, what your experience/opinion of it was.

Is this only for the very rich? :teeth: because we certainly wouldn't fall into that category.

My son will be turning the big four :flower: in November and it would be to celebrate his birthday and my nephew's 10th birthday.

What kind of food/drinks/cake did you have? How was it? What did you tip the driver? etc., etc.

There are no premium cruises available on the regular pontoon boats for the night we want (or else we would probably go with that) and the regular boats don't accommodate enough people for our party (10-13 of us).

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Food and beverages would be extra on the Grand One and they must be booked through GF private dining. If all the pontoon cruises are booked for Wishes, have you considered an Illuminations birthday cruise? They will decorate the boat with streamers and have cake and drinks aboard. Just a thought.

I did not have food when we did our Grand 1 cruise. We had the cruise in July as part of our wedding festivities for our guests. It was an absolutely wonderful, magical time that I felt was well worth the money I spent. It would do it again in a heartbeat and am thinking of doing a dinner on board for an anniversary in the future.
