Grand gathering questions

We are going to Disney in Aug 06 and there are more than 8 of us. When I booked, the CM told me my grand gathering number and that we will have access to things others are not.

Can anyone tell me what they have experienced?

I have the same situation. When I booked our 2 rooms at POP and we have 8 people the CM said that he would book us under a Grand Gathering and that there were special things that we could do. I was going to check into it a bit, but forgot. I think he mentioned something about a cruise and a dinner. Cant remember for sure, but would love to hear what others have done also.

We've done the Good Morning Gathering and the Magical Fireworks Voyage. Both were lots of fun.

thanks for the link. Anyone else out there that has done the gathering before? am i in the right room to be asking this question?
