Hi there everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on how exactly Disney works to accommodate large parties at some of their restaurants. The reason I ask is, were traveling in Sept as a party of 10, however 8 of them are children. I dont really want to have any of the other children at different tables and I definitely dont want to sit apart from my husband. I was told they cant guarantee the seats will be near each other and that has me worried. For the price of some of these meals, I'd like to enjoy them as a family, and will likely just do all CS, if we cant eat together. This has me bummed out because I definitely was looking forward to some of the places we were going to eat.

So for those that have traveled in a group this size, or even anyone that knows, how does Disney normally seat people with large parties??

Thanks so much!!

I guess it would help to mention the places we were planning on going..
HDDR
Coral Reef
1900 PF
Raglan Road
Ohana
Tusker House
and Mama Melrose

We have vacationed as a party of 11 and a party of 17. In all the places we dined we DID NOT get seated together at Coral Reef, Sci Fi and Crystal Palace. Some places just aren't set up for it.

Thanks...Coral Reef was the one that got me thinking about this....I was looking at pictures and thinking to myself, theirs nowhere were going to fit!!!!:rotfl:

I wouldnt mind splitting up if it was several families or if we were with other adults, but since were just one family, with mostly small children, being seated separately just wouldnt work out for us!

Thanks again for your response!

I would make reservations at the others on your list. If you arrive and they can't seat you together, you can always refuse and go to a CS. I think you will be seated together at most places. On both of our big group trips, I felt like they really tried to accommodate us. I'd skip Coral Reef though.
