Grand Gathering event question

I just booked a Magical Fireworks Voyage for my group of 8 for January 1. Because it is just 90 days out, they could book it but didn't have the time listed on their calendar (which seemed kind of weird, but...) Anyway, of any of you have been on it, can you tell me what time you need to meet to board the boat? I have a ressie at Chef Mickey's for 5:20 and don't know if I should move it or not (it might be nice to eat dinner at CM and then board the boat right there at the CR!!!)

I booked one also today for the 1st. I was told we have to be at the CR dock one hour prior to the fireworks but, of course, that hasn't been scheduled as yet. Disney does not make it easy to schedule things with the 90 day out reservations schedule and approximately 60-80 day events calendar. I made 4:00 dinner reservations just to be sure, but 5:30 should work I would think.
