We stayed at the GF - Royal Palm Club , for part of our honeymoon last year. We loved it!
The GF resort is beautiful and magical!
The RPC Concierge service, is concierge service provided in the main building (as well as your accomodations). They have an extensive menu of offerings throughout the day and a large lounge that overlooks the lobby of the hotel. It is private and can only be accessed by your room key.
The Grand Floridian is one of our favorite resorts. The while buildings with the red roof tops accented by the green grass and Seven Seas Lagoon...... as you can tell I wish I was there now!
As for the rooms, they are decorated in Alice In Wonderland, whimsical pastel colors, there are 2 pools, beach and marina access. There are so many restaruants to choose from and room service is really yummy! You can walk to the Poly and take a boat and Monorail to MK and Monorail to EPCOT or TTC.
All in all, you can tell I love this resort and would highly recommend a stay there.

, but if you relax and remember that it's Disney and only a theme, you'll be fine. The Royal Palm Club is very nice, but don't count on them contacting you prior to your trip. In my 5 visits there, I only received one phone call from them and I've never seen a pre-planning packet. Their e-mail address is WDWGFPlanning@disney.com and they are very responsive to it. Once you arrive at the GF, you should be met at the portico by a concierge greeter who will escort you to the 3rd floor for a private check in. The team is available daily from 7am-10pm if you have any needs during your stay. The views range from Magic Kingdom, Gardens/Pool to Lagoon/Epcot. If you have any room requests, I'd mention them in the e-mail to the pre-planner. The lobby of the GF is huge and open and the concierge floors overlook it all. It's a very bright, airy resort. The concierge lounge is on the 4th floor and the guest rooms are on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. You must insert your room key into the slot inside the elevator to access these floors. There's one elevator in the main lobby and a little known elevator that's located in an alcove near Gasparilla's Grille. The lounge has offerings from 6:30-10:30, 11:30-2:30, 3:00-4:30, 5-7 and 8-10. Beginning in the early evening, the orchestra and piano alternately play until 10pm. You can enjoy a glass of wine in the concierge lounge and listen to them playing just below you.
