Grand Floridian Views?

I read somewhere that you can see a Electro parade and some Fireworks from the GF. Is this really correct and where would you recommend being on resort when this happens?

The MK is across the lake from the GF and that is where you will see the fireworks occur over Cinderella's Castle. The Electrical Water pageant is made up of boats out on the lake also. So anywhere you get down at the waterfront at night if your room doesn't have a view of the lake.

From your room, you'll need a Lagoon or MK View to see the fireworks/Water Parade.

If you are not staying in a Lagoon or Magic Kingdom view, my suggestion is to watch it at the marina where Gasparilla's Grill & Games is located at.

A good spot for the water pageant is the boat dock by Narcossees.

We just returned from the GF and my kids enjoyed watching the parade from our room. We stayed in the Boca Chica building and had a MK/Lagoon view. It was really spectacular. The dock at Narcooses or Gasparilla as someone said is great as well.

For viewing both from your room, you probably want to book a Theme Park view room and request either Conch Key or Boca Chica. Conch will actually give you a better castle view and Boca Chica will offer a better EWP view.

As far as on site viewing around the resort, the marina is good for fireworks viewing only. The beach is good for EWP viewing only. The resort boat dock will offer a good view of both, but gets pretty crowded.
