Hi. I have not ever done a couple's massage but I have been to the GF Spa many, many times and have had many massages and other treatments there. It's a nice place, although extremely pricey.
One thing I would warn against is having the couple's massage if you or your husband is very jealous. If this is the case, I would recommend that you call in advance and be sure you are booked with a female therapist and he with a male therapist. I have a friend who got very upset watching her husband get a massage from a "hot" young girl at a resort out West once

and I've also heard stories about guys glaring at male therapists who are working on their wife or girlfriend. Sounds funny, but it isn't necessarily! You are there to enjoy the deep relaxation of your massage, I assume. Otherwise it's a waste of time and money.
I would recommend alowing yourself plenty of time to arrive at the spa AT LEAST 30 minutes before your treatment time. Take a shower and put on your robe and begin winding down before your massage. Maybe sit in the sauna or steam room or even the whirlpool first. They have hot tea for you to sip on and magazines (usually!) for you to peruse while you wait. You and your husband will be in separate lounges and then I guess be escorted to the same room by your individual therapists
It will be great. The only thing is, you might consider having your massages separate but at the same time slot. It would still be romantic to go to the spa together without watching your partner be massaged. (You should be enjoying your OWN massage! IMO and I can't imagine chit-chat during a massage...) You could always request a male therapist and he could request a female. Straight men usually want a female (at least every single one I know

). Women who are new to massage usually want a female as well b/c they are self-conscious. But men are great massage therapists and I would recommend trying one. Good luck and enjoy!
