We're staying at the Grand Floridian in March next year. DH is attending a conference there and I've been told we'll likely be in the Sago Cay building. Reservation says "standard room, outside building, garden view." Any tips for view, floor, etc?

I really liked Sago Cay. In the GF thread in the first post is a map, to give you an idea of the layout. As you walk out the back of the GF to the grounds Sago is a short walk to the left. The CS restaurant is right there and the little cove of water/marina in front of Sago is a great place to see Wishes. My garden view room was on the other side of Sago on the third floor and actually overlooked a bit of the lake and I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee while sitting on the balcony watching the monorails go by.

We just stayed at Sago Cay last week and loved it! My recommendation is always for ground floor-just because my poor feet are always tired from the parks and I don't want to walk any farther than necessary or wait around for an elevator!

We were on the side that faced the marina. Since you are garden view you will either see that on one side or grass and trees on the other side. I prefer seeing the marina. Sago Cay is a great location! The convention center is a very short walk and so is the bus stop. Gasparilla's entrance is right there which helps for getting a quick snack and refilling your mug. The best part is that the little outside seating area for Gasparilla's has an awesome view of Wishes! I could step right out of Sago Cay and watch the fireworks every night!

You'll love GF. I don't think there is a bad location there.
