Grand Floridian- fireworks & EWP

Hi. This is my first time posting on resorts board, as we stay offsite. Anyway, we have PS at 1900 Park Fare our first night (6:30). I was wondering if you can see the MK fireworks from the GF beach at night, and also what time the EWP comes by. I'm hoping we can fit one, or both, in after dinner. TIA

You can see the fireworks from the marina, or from inside the main building on a higher floor. The EWP actually starts from a canal very close to the marina but it doesn't light all the barges until it gets a little past the marina so you would actually have to move for a better view. I'm not sure when the fireworks will start when you will be there but when I was there this past July/August the EWP was at about 9:00, and the fireworks were at 10:00.

A lot of people also go to the boat dock (next to Narcooses) to watch the fireworks.

MrsMud, if you enquire at the GF’s Front Desk or Guest Services Desk, they should be able to tell you the exact time the Electrical Water Pageant will float by the resort. Others have already stated some wonderful places from which to view it from. Enjoy your dinner at the Grand.

We ate at Narcoosee's and stood out on the deck outside to watch the fireworks and listen to the music. It was really nice, but be warned- the fireworks go off waaay behind the castle- from the vantage point of the GF, it does look a little strange. Still great all the same!

but I really really really recommend bug spray! It was August, however we were eaten alive by misquitos... and since I'm allergic it was not fun.
