Grand Floridian DVC rooms?

Has anyone seen a room breakdown?
Are there going to be Grand Villas?
As small as the resort is going to be, much like the Villas at Wilderness Lodge, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do Grand Villas, but then again, there are Grand Villas at the Grand Californian.

I honestly thought they would do something similar to what they did at AKV and dedicate some of the current hotel inventory to DVC especially for studios.

Here is a target audience that I think Disney is missing almost entirely - Honeymoon couples.

Imagine small free standing honeymoon villas with an outdoor hot tub, outdoor shower, and bright open interior with romantic touches.

I think they could easily build them through DVC and rent them via cash, like the Treehouse Villas - but meant for two, but with more space dedicated special touches. Or like the cabins at Ft. Wilderness, BUT with more upscale finishes and secluded outdoor spaces.

I think Disney could make a fortune on that concept!

They took rooms from AKL because it was constantly undersold, that is not the case at GF. It stays heavily booked and has a very active convention crowd.

I don't think Disney is missing out on the Honeymoon crowd at all.

All I've seen are the number of villas and the maximum number of rooms possible. I doubt they will have GV but we'll see. I don't see DVC trying to specialize into areas as you suggest.

I found an artist rendering of the lobby recently! Hopefully the room renderings will be out soon!

That artwork was part of the original press release back in December 2011. So nothing new for nearly 6 months now.

Interior designs are still being tweaked. Remember that BLT model room that used to be at the Saratoga Springs preview center...

Expect it to be a Victorian style similar to the rest of the GF.

Has Disney released any artist's renderings of how the interior of the new Grand Floridian DVC rooms will look?

I feel like a school kid that knows the answer to the question. :dance3:

Somewhere on the internet, I saw that the rooms were going to be designed using the main dining room of Victoria & Albert's as the template.

I don't recall where I saw that, but think someone from Disney was cited. Take it with a grain of salt...but

Here is a 360 degree view of V&A.

Not sure, I've only been in GF once and didn't really pay attention to the lobby because we were late for an ADR!!!! Do you think the site I found that on has it confused and it's actually and old pic from when GF was first built?

No, I'm sure it is a rendering for the villas' lobby. It just has the same Victorian styling, white railings, furniture, architectural details, etc.
