Grand Floridian Cafe?

I was thinking about making an ADR for the Grand Floridian Cafe for our upcoming trip. Is it good? It is one that I haven't heard a lot about and am not familiar with (although the menu looks good). Any feedback on this one? Thanks!

We really enjoyed our dinner there -- nice, relaxing, very pretty, elegant but we didn't feel uncomfortable in our "park" clothes, great waiter with a good sense of humor Food was tasty, no amazing signature dishes, but very good and nicely presented.

This, as well as the Kona Kafe at the Poly are probably 2 of the most hidden dining jewels at WDW. Food at GF Cafe is excellent (not a Citrico's or Narcoossee's, but still excellent), and that's both selection and flavor. Presentation is superb and wine list admirable. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere easy-going but yet refined. You will not be sorry for trying this one.

We love GFC. We have eaten there several times and always enjoyed the food and service. We will be eating there again in Oct. before the Halloween party.

We did Breakfast there last Easter on our last day. Nice breakfast, hop on monorails for one last spin around, and off to the airport. It was very nice - will try and get there again this year. They had the Mickey Waffles which were excellent (as usual).

We really enjoy GFC. As others have said, the food is very good in quality, taste and variety. The atmosphere and presentation gives it a "step-up" feel, but we're completely comfortable there after a park day. Not to mention it's a reason to stop by the resort which is absolutely beautiful.

we've eaten here twice for dinner and enjoyed it both times

the crabcakes were surprisingly very good to start - DH had the steak and shrimp combo, i had the prime rib - no complaints, very tasty - we shard 4 of the mini desserts - delicious! - love the setting, very floral, quiet

I love getting a window seat for breakfast & watch the CM's outside work in the gardens. How do they stay so clean?! while planting flowers. Our last trip we had dinner there the meal was so good the fish of the day I had at GFC was better than the fish I had at Coral Reef. We have always had great service & it is quite relaxing.

Im glad to read such positive reviews for GF Cafe .

We are planning on having lunch here after our wedding reception as it looks like a lovely elegant setting plus menu seems to have something for everyone.

For our wedding day we wanted to have lunch at somewhere fancy (ish) & then dinner somewhere more fun.( My df's a very picky eater so the GF Cafe seemed to be an ideal "fancy" location.)

Then we re having dinner at Chef Mickeys which is the "fun" option , plus i want to have some pics of us in our wedding attire with the characters.

We did lunch at the GF Cafe last month when we were there. We really enjoyed it. The chocolate fondue is to die for! And the rest of the food was good as well. The atmosphere is more peaceful than a lot of other restaurants tend to be.

Each trip, we have breakfast and lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Our meals are always very good. It's a true "hidden gem."
