Grand Floridian Cafe- how is it?

We were at WDW Sept 6th-14th and had lunch at the GFC one day. It was a very nice respite from the parks. Food was good and service was wonderful. No complaints!

It is a great place to eat. The food and service are excellent! I definitely recommend the fondue for dessert!!!! SOOOO GOOD!

we've eaten at GF for dinner twice - both times the food was very good - i remember the pasta dish, steak, hamburger - all were very good. we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the service. however.
the physical aspects, while nice, feel like you could be eating in a restaurant just about anywhere -that said, it is nice to walk around the GF and the monorail can take you right back to the park!

We love lunch there and do it virtually every trip. Great service and food. I think the restaurant is at it's prettiest in the daylight.

Last week, there was a mix up with our tea time, and we needed something without an ADR. 1900 Park Fare could accomodate us in an hour, but the GFC took us on the spot. We had delicious meals, my DF had a pasta dish and I had salmon. I've raved about it to my family and we intend to go again soon.

We ate here last week and had a great meal. DH had salmon and I had the steak. They were both excellent. Another vote for the fondue for dessert. The service was very good and the restaurant itself was quiet and relaxing.

We were at the GF Cafe during free dining and many restaurants were packed and turning people away. During dinner we were on one of only 4 or 5 tables that were in the restaurant. We couldn't understand it The food and desserts were excellent and the service was good. We would definitely go back here again.

We had dinner there just last month, and have been there numerous times in the past. We love it. Very quiet, nice atmosphere, great service. My family is not into the character meals anymore and we found the GF Cafe a number of years ago to be a good fit for our family.

We have breakfast and lunch there each trip, and we travel from the Yacht Club to do it.

We ate at the GF cafe earlier this month for dinner and it was our favorite meal of the trip! Excellent service and our steaks were done perfectly!
