Right now I have ADRs at 'Ohanas for the 4th of July fireworks. My DD14 just said that she didn't like it there last time and didn't want to eat there again. So, now I am thinking about Grand Floridian Cafe because I like the looks of the menu. I know we can't see the fireworks "from" the GFC, but would we be allowed to go somewhere where we could see the fireworks?

Fireworks are at 9 pm.

We were there last July 4th. We stayed at the GF and had a lagoon view room. Dd got sick that afternoon so our plans for dinner that night went out the window and we just got take out from Gasparillas. When I was out getting her dinner we saw lots of folks sitting by the marina waiting for the fireworks and some were actually on the grass near our room with blankets. You can also watch the fireworks from the boat launch near Narcoose's.

Unless you are staying at one of the monorail resorts you will have to have an ADR to get on the property. They are very strict on the 4th of July. So Gasparilla's will not work for you. Also if you plan to park in their lot you will be given a 3 hour pass and again they are strict on this, on the holidays.

You could eat and go to the Marina area, but the fireworks are better from the Polynesian as it more centrally located. Did you check the Kona Cafe menu.
