checkin in friday, and not sure what to expect! it looks fancy, but keep hearing people say it's like a regular Disney resort
Worrying about the GF being too stuffy is like worrying about interacting with royalty at CRT.
It is both! We always thought it was too fancy/stuffy for us until our first stay. It was both awesome and very comfortable. It's fantastic and I think you're gonna love it!

. I do think it’s important to not let reviews get too much in your head. All of the Deluxe resorts have various pros and cons, and the GF is no different.
.
). As other posters have said, GF is beautiful resort that has wonderful theming. You're going to have a great time. Enjoy your trip. It’s not a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, if that is your definition of fancy.

Yay. Hopefully you'll love the GF, my mother & I fell in love with the resort on our first stay shortly after the resort openedcheckin in friday, and not sure what to expect! it looks fancy, but keep hearing people say it's like a regular Disney resort
LOL speaking of Royalty I was there a few years ago staying in RPC (RPC = Royal Palm Club Main Building Club Level for those that are new to the GF) and I saw this family with a few private dining servers and they were setting up in the lounge so I asked one of the CM's and she said Prince Edward and his family were guests at resort so it was probably for them. So that was my brush with The RoyalsWorrying about the GF being too stuffy is like worrying about interacting with royalty at CRT. “Victorian turn-of-the-century” is just another example of very well-done Disney theming.
