Grand Californian

Anyone been to Club Level since it reopened or know what it is costing to add at check in? My mom and I arrive tomorrow and are going to see what the cost is to add it at check in and decide if it is worth it or not.

I have a club level trip booked at the end of the month and cannot get any answers. I have called, emailed, and chatted on the app to no avail. I just get a canned response with no actual details. I am reconsidering my decision. If I can’t find some info soon, I will probably downgrade. I keep hoping someone will come along with a trip report and some photos🤞

The Facebook group “Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa” has a recent post (5 days ago) about staying Club level. She posted pictures with individually plated food offerings and answered questions about her experience. Of course, everything might change again as of today, but I just can’t see paying an extra $150/day for some free food and drinks unless we didn’t want to eat anywhere else, but we enjoy too many restaurants in the parks to skip them. I am attaching one of the photos from the Facebook chat of the breakfast food. C82D48EF-ECB7-4883-8F95-DB8FE5D368BA.jpeg

So, I was going to price out a GC package with the discount -- probably a bigger jump than I want to make anyhow from off-site -- but it only shows 2 day tickets? Anyone else encounter this?

This happened to me before and I went into incognito mode on Chrome, tried and again and it let me pick whatever ticket I wanted.

Thanks! I was awfully confused.
In the meantime, I decided not to try to change it for this trip. But that could be helpful info to someone!

Can someone enlighten me as to the location of where the Standard rooms are at GCH compared to other room types?

How does that work for previously booked rooms? Can we get this discount applied if our dates fall in the range?
In my experience if a special offer is made available after you book you can call and get your rate changed. Or, have your TA do it, if they booked the room for you.

It definitely works! Just call the number on your reservation to modify your reservation: (714) 520-5045. I was on hold for a little over an hour, but was able to easily modify my existing reservation once I reached a cast member.

Thank you so so much! I was able to call and get the new rate for both of our rooms for July, and I used the savings to add an extra night!

Can anyone tell me what the toiletry situation is in the DVC villas? Still the individual bottles or the big pumps in the showers? Planning for our trip in 12 days--we head to Hawaii for 12 days after, so want to pack only what is needed.

Does the Grand still have rooms with the single fold down type bed? They have done away with the bunk beds rooms correct?

We were booked for DLH for part of our Honeymoon in mid August but my TA checked w/ the new rates and we can get the GC for same price we were previously paying for DLH, so we're bumping up.

Anyone have any experience with getting free upgrades? Our TA put Honeymoon as our celebration, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but of course not counting on it and we're TOTALLY fine with the standard room we're paying for.
