I've never been to Paradise Pier, but we were at GC a couple of weeks ago on Concierge level, and we loved it. Our room had a balcony, and we had a view of DCA. And from our balcony, we could also see the fireworks from
Disneyland. I think it was 9:15 when it starts, if I'm not mistaken. I liked the turndown service they did at night, and they would even leave those Disney chocolate coins for my kids, and some kind of newsletter on what's going on the next day.
Also, the Concierge lounge was pretty well stocked the whole day when it came to drinks (Dasani water, coke and sprite, coffee, tea, hot cocoa). We never stopped by for breakfast, but I think they served continental. Then after that, they served little sandwiches and pastries. Then in the evening, they called it "Sweet Endings" where they'd serve milk and cookies, and more pastries. At the beginning of "Sweet Endings" (8 or 8:15pm, I can't remember), a storyteller would come by, and the kids can be in their pjs and they'd have some pillows and blankets on the floor.
I'm sure you'll also have a great time like we did!
