Grand Californian Microwaves

Does anyone know if you can request a microwave at the Grand Californian?
It's are first time going to Disneyland and the Grand Californian in December.
Any help appreciated......Thanks

Microwaves are not available in room at the Disney resort hotels.

Oh darn, I was so excited. On another thread someone said you could request the microwave. Oh, well.

Depending on which on-site hotel, you can request coffee makers and/or refrigerators. A couple of years ago, I purchased a little cheap 'dorm-sized' microwave to use on trips. Since we live in No. Calif. and drive to DL, I just throw it in the back and I have a microwave! Very helpful especially when we stay at the GCH--really cuts down on food costs!

Great idea, maybe I'll just get a cheapy one for the trip. So the hotel staff is ok with taking one up to your room?

Yep! Never had a single comment about the microwave. Only problem is the loss of space in the hotel room!
