Grand Californian Availability

Hi! Just wanted to know if Grand Californian is difficult to book 7 months out. We will be there in the 3rd or 4th week of June 2017 and it it out first time booking here. Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm a owner at VGC and it can be difficult if not booked right at 7 months. We rarely can find 2 or 3 days together after 7 months. I'd be prepared to book right away. Also the studios go first as well as Grand Villas (due to there only being 2). It's a great resort, we love requesting the Pier view! Best of luck!

VGC is an extremely small resort. Be prepared to waitlist and have a backup plan.

Some times of the year are easier to book than others at 7 months although for any you always want to be online right when booking starts at 7am. If you are looking for a studio in June though that will be fairly unlikely IMO. You might have luck with a 1BR.

Thank you all for your help! I can book in November, and plan on doing it on the day that I am eligible to do so. I am wondering if you all have suggestions on where to stay if I can't get in there.

I'm in the opposite boat. I just bought at GC. Already had rented points here for next May, and we were hoping to do a MK resort next December but now it looks like the chances of getting a studio at 7 mo for a MK resort next year are not good

I think it can be done, but it will most likely be OKW or Saratoga, neither of which is terrible despite what you may have heard.

Yeah, pretty much not happening at 7 months for December unless Copper Creek is open, at which point it depends on your speed at 8AM.

What week in Dec? Maybe could happen if you're going the 3rd week. Not good odds but not necessarily impossible.

Her birthday is on the 12th. I think we are just going to do Cali or rent points at 11 months
