yes, they are. If you call MS they should have the points info for 1BR, 2 BR GCH suites. I believe they are pretty high. Quite a bit higher than the VGC points chart. Can you post some value if you get them?

I was thinking of using my VGC DPs for a bigger room..but first need to wait and see if there are points left for regular DVC members after the founder get done. It's going to be a looong 2 months
