Hello all,

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I'm struggling for info on this one. I was all set to have a Dessert Party at Sago Cay after our Wedding & Reception, but DF has now found out about the Wishes Cruise on the Grand 1 and really loves the idea of doing this instead of a dessert party, so as there'll only be 18 of us, I thought I'd do some research. Can anyone help with the following??

1) Can we essentially have the dessert party on the Yacht instead of on the Marina?

2) Does anyone have any experience of photos on the Yact - ie could an outside photographer take photos, as long as they were part of the 18 guest count? Does anyone know if these photos would be any good/comparable to pictures at Sago Cay?

3) Realistically can everyone see Wishes from the boat?

4) Do you have to pay extra to have the Wishes music piped in like you do at Sago Cay?

Thanks so much for anyone that can help, you're all stars!!:wizard:

Sorry I can't answer any of your questions, but we have the Grand One booked for next month and I rang the marina to query the maximum occupancy onboard the yacht and she came back and said it is definitely a maximum of 17 people.

We had a Wishes Cruise on the Grand 1 after our VR in April. I was originally considering a DP at Sago Cay Point but decided to change to the Grand 1 as Randy said he would be able to get pics closer to the fireworks that way. We had dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse before the cruise so we didn't have any food onboard.

There were 14 of us plus Randy Chapman. There was plenty of room for everyone to see the fireworks and for Randy to move around taking pics of everyone. We also saw the Electric Water Pageant on its way around the lake. You don't have to pay any extra to have the music piped in, its included in the cost of the rental.

I love my photos! Here are a few.

Hope that helps!

Thanks so much for all the info! Well if the boat only holds 18, I could always leave my FMIL on the dock!!:rotfl:

The Allears menu looks fabulous, I think I'll get them to bring a plate of diiped strawberries just for me and DF!!!

Mcarthur205 thankyou so much for sharing!! Your pictures are beautiful, and Randy's photos are gorgeous of the fireworks. Your evening out on the yacht looks amazing - now to show all this to DF!!

Thanks again!!
