I have booked the Grand 1 for an evening fireworks cruise for a total of 8 adults. My dilemma is whether or not to do dinner onboard or before the cruise. I have already received the GF menus and I am pondering what to do.

Has anyone had dinner served and how was it handled? Were you served dockside or while cruising, how was the quality of the meal and would you do it again?

Thanks so much for any help. I normally am pretty confident about my planning, but this one has me baffled a bit :confused3

We did not have dinner but had dessert (Cinderella's slipper) served and I would not do it again.

We had only booked it for an hour to see Wishes and the time went so fast anyways I would much rather be outside enjoying the view and ride than in the galley eating.

We ate while crusing and the mate did a great job displaying the desserts and serving.

Enjoy - you will love the Grand 1.

Hmmmmm....I wonder if I just order the appetizer trays if those can be eaten on deck so that we might still enjoy the view?

I agree that I would not want to eat in the galley, especially considering the hourly cost for the Grand 1. I plan on our being on it for approximately 2 hours.

Thanks for your reply!

I went on the grand one with my wife on the 15th of september. I could not afford more then an hour, so I didn't want to use my time eating. We sat on the bow of the ship the whole time.
