Ok, I decided to give shooting RAW a chance. Each time I have tried, my pics look grainy. Any suggestions on what I can do to change that? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Because RAW has no in-camera effects, there is no noise reduction happening. You would need to do that in the processing program.

DOH! That would help me too! Do you apply the NR before you do anything else with the processing?
