"Gradventure" going to ruin my plans??

How does "Gradventure" work?
Will we be kicked out early that day? We got express on May 9th and now I see it is a gradventure day.
Really quite bummed if we need to leave early.

I'm not paying for EP, it's included with our stay but still annoying that it's on a day that I can't get the entire day use out of.

From memory on previous May visits they will close to regular guests at 6pm on those nights.

It officially starts at 7pm till midnight, but they can get into Studios from 4pm, again from memory but I don`t think it changes much from year to year.

The worst part of it is the roads outside, they close some of the road around and the buses are a nightmare. So we don`t drive offsite on those nights.

we are onsite anyway but it is our last day so will be heading to an Int Drive hotel once we leave Universal for the day. Guess it will be earlier than we thought...

They do close off some of the roads around the hotels on those nights, we had a nightmare one year we couldn`t get back into Sapphire Falls due to Hollywood Way being blocked off, security were blocking the roads with their cars but we got into RP car park and got the car in the morning.

That was around 10pm though so maybe it`s later in the evening they block it off as we got out of Sapphire with no issues, so you will be fine leaving the resort to get to your hotel on I Drive.

you sure did! I guess I'm bummed because It is our last day and I usually like to stay until park close. Plus having the EP and not getting full use out of it is also a shame.
We will be leaving from either Hard Rock or Portofino via Uber - I sure hope we can get out!

Thanks for the heads up about traffic/road closures on Grad nights. We leave on the 17th but I think we should be fine leaving about 4-5pm? We probably would've spent our last evening, 16th, offsite but we might change around our plans now if it's a lot of hassle getting back (Aventura). How is Citywalk on those evenings?
