Graduation Trip to Disney! First trip Report

So I don't know if this is allowed but I am gonna combine my PTR with my TR!

So my best friend Brianne moved to Florida after we graduated in May to do the Disney College program. Brianne and I went to Disney World twice in 2008. Once in March for spring break and once in December.

This time our friend Steph is coming along for the fun! Steph is a Disney freak too and Brianne is getting us a 50% discount on our hotel so we are staying in the Pirate room at CBR! Whenever Brianne and I would go to Disney I would do all the planning ahead and she would be happy with whatever I decided we should do. So I did the same thing this trip after getting input from Steph. The only thing Steph wants to do is go to MVCP and Rainforest Cafe.

So I booked the RC at AK. The night we get there I booked Planet Hollywood. Then I booked the Crystal Palace for breakfast one day and 1900 Park Fare for dinner one night. Now to my shock and Amazement I was able to book CRT for 905 at night! My friends don't know so I am thinking of keeping it a secret for now. Not sure. More later!

So I am off a week from tomorrow. I had to break it to Brianne that we are doing CRT only because she was supposed to work that night and needed to know if what I had planned was something she wanted to do or could stand to miss. She clearly could not stand to miss it as I got the call at work today that she got the whole day off!

Last night I did my shopping buying all the little odds and ends you need for these things. Spent an hour in Target and managed to get in and out of Target spending less than $50! That has to be some kind of world record!

Also got half my christmas shopping done today so I don't have to worry about spending my christmas money on me in Florida lol.

Gonna start packing on Saturday and Sunday I think. Have to find the sunscreen, it's been a cold fall in New England. I leave right from Work on Wednesday so no time for last minute stuff like I always do.

Is the weekend over yet? How often do you hear that?

So disaster has struck!

Last Thursday my friends and I went to Boston to see Donnie Wahlberg on the set of the ZooKeeper. We hung out in his trailer with about 15 other people. ANYWAY there were 7 of us that were together the whole time and 5 of them are sick! I think one has the swine flu! Now I am not worried about getting the H1N1 as I have already had it....really not a big deal don't know what everyone is up and arms about. But the others all have colds and one has pnemonia! I was sick in Disney in March with a bad case of Bronchitus, and I had a middle ear infection in both ears on my cruise last May. I CANNOT be sick on another vacation!

The good news is I have not gotten sick yet, but I leave in 6 days so I am popping vitimins like its my jobs and drinking so much vitimin C I may float away. I'm doing a self isolation after work every day. But what do you expect? I live in Boston where one day it's sunny and 70 and the next day it snows. Everyone gets sick thanks to this weather. I hate fall!

Oh that is so sad. I guess children are doing badly with the Swine flu. I was really sick for 3 days with a fever of 103, but I thought it was no worse than the regular flu. Everyone at work makes fun of me and say it figures I would be the first. My co-workers son had it, he's 3, but he's doing well. I think knowing someone who had it and had no complications helped him and his wife get through it. She has baby #3 on the way so he was really worried.

Thanks! I hope to stay healthy too! No more sick vacations for me!
