Graduation money how much?

I have bought nice cards for two nieces one is a High School Graduate and the other is Graduating College with a teaching degree (she is married with two kids and is very strapped for cash).
Do I give more to the College grad? same for both? Help!!

When I graduated from high school I got $250 from my uncle and $500 for college graduation.

I think I gave her $50.....for HS Graduation. But that was a long time ago....

I'm giving $50 to a close family friend for a college graduation. I think it's a really nice gift.

I would give a little more the college grad. Not much maybe $25 more. Since they are family, I would probably go with $75 for HS and $100 for college. Whatever you can afford and are comfortable giving is fine and will be appreciated.

I usually give $40-50 dollars for High school graduation. Although last year my daughters best friend graduated and I gave him $100.

All depends on how much you can afford and how close they are to you.

Dd graduated last year and the average for non grandparent relatives was between $25-$50.

We actually do our bigger cash gift for the high school graduates. For nieces and nephews we give $100 for high school. For college we give $50, or something we know they want/need.
For the children of friends graduating High School we give $20-$25, children of friends graduating college we sent a card.
