Graduation Gifts for DD's friends

I would like to give my daughter's close friends a small gift along with a check for graduation. Any ideas out there - I don't want to give them "The Places You Will Go" but Dr. Suess as I think that's over done now.

Any advice would be so appreciated!

Thats my favoirite book.
Are they going onto college or a good job? If so a nice cross pen with an insription might be good.

This is high school graduation.... a nice pen is a good idea - I'll have to check the office supply store.

The two most popular girl gifts around here are towel wraps (those with velcro for wearing when they get out of the shower) and Land's End canvas totes.

A pair of Crocs if they dont already have some.

A large plastic bowl that they can serve popcorn or chips from in their dorm room. I decorate these with their names or in school colors with the special paint pens.

You can put a check in the bowl.

Last year WalMart had some that came with a snap on cover and 4 smaller serving bowls inside.
