Help!

My husband and I are looking at doing a Graduation Cruise as a gift for our two Seniors. HOWEVER - our daughter (she's my bonus daughter from his first marriage) is 18. So he is thinking he can take her a do a special Palo Brunch, just the two of them.

On the other hand, our son is 17, so Palo is out for him. Is there anything that might be special for him that he and I can do? I know the rules, but it's a total bummer, because he's a foodie (this is the kid that was eating lamb and scallops at 7). And I know he'll love the food at the other places, but I want to do SOMETHING special for him. Ideas?

We don't have anything set in stone yet - trying to make sure the DD can get time off of work - but DH likes numbers, lots of numbers, so I'm working on a spreadsheet.

Plus, this will be his first cruise (I'm not far ahead, but I am a Silver Castaway Cay), and if it goes well, he's already agreed to do the OBB for another cruise. With all our kids. (We have eight....) :D

THANK YOU!

How soon will the 17-yr-old turn 18?

He just turned 17. His birthday is December 29th - so waiting isn't an option. (He's one of those there smarty-pants who did his first six years of school in five. This kid told me what he wanted his degree in when he was THREE - and has never changed his mind...)

the parasailing at CC sounds like a great option. If he's not much over 200 lbs the two of you should be able to go up together (from your pic, you look tiny). Just looked and max weight is 375 so this is a good possibility.

Have fun planning - and then GOING!!

Yes! He's big (height wise - not weight - he's likely going to be 6'6" or more at that point), but we should easily fit under the 375 weight limit!

Now to figure out how to make the numbers work.
