Grad weekend ?

We will be at Disney over grad weekend April 28-29. Anyone have experience with crowds then? Should we avoid MK those days? And where do all the grads stay are they on property.

My understanding is that the "grads" don't arrive until after the park closes to the public/resort guests. So it should not affect your crowd levels at all (other than possibly people staying away from MK that day because of early closing/no Wishes/Spectro, etc.........). As far as where they stay? Not sure about that one. Wonder if they actually "stay"? They may just get bussed to/from using their local school districts bussing. Or have they "officially" graduated already and it's not a school sponsored event? Around here (Ohio), graduation isn't until last week of May/early June.

When we were there last year, there were grads from our home state of Mass. They were staying at the All Stars. The only time we were inundated is on our way to Downtown Disney and they were on the bus with us.

Yes they do close MK early those 2 evenings and the grads show up after hours. I believe we did go to MK during the day and it was not too bad.
