Grad Nites at Disney World, no more grad nites? How does it work?

So when looking up 2025 Disney World dates it (google automatic answer) said a few dates, then under that said that DIsney World is no longer doing grad nite dates due to problems, and it being concerned about it effecting high season times, etc. Is this true? When are Disney World grad nite dates typically and more importantly which park are they in?
Do they just close the park earlier for grad nite days or how does that work? I thought if you stay in a resort hotel (specifically the Contemporary) then you get to go early as also stay later)

To answer your other question: if you stay in a deluxe hotel like the Contemporary you can get in 1/2 hr early (actually any Disney hotel gets this privilege) and on specific days you can stay late at a specific park. You need to check the schedule to see which park is offered on which night. Typically it’s only 2 nights/2 parks in a given week.

FWIW I used chrome and searched the phrased you used and did not get the results you did. If I omit world and just search 2025 disney grad nite dates I get


The first is AI generated, the second where you see the logo is pulling from an article by Disney Tourist Blog.

So in this instance perhaps it's just Bing results that are bad.

That is not a Disney site, that is just your search engine creating an answer from found data.

As others have said Disney WORLD stopped doing Grad Nights ... and Night of Joy, they have even eliminated some of their WWOS big events. If the event is problematic, costs too much money, interferes with other guests ... sometimes best to stop. Disneyland is a completely different animal, different type of guests, different hours and nighttime offerings. It is much easier to do some things there than WDW.
