grad night question

Hi, I hope someone can answer this question for me. I have booked a vacation for June 2007. The final day we will be at Disneyland is a "grad night". How early will the park close on this night and will both Disneyland and the California park be closed?
I really wish I would have realized this before I planned a vacation. : (

I think it closes at six pm, but I'm not positive. What are your dates? I know there will be a grad night the day we arrive (we don't spend that day in the park anyway), and one other night that we're there.

There will be a grad night on the 13th and I think on the 14th also. I will be there June 11-13. I was really hoping that the California park would remain open to the public. 6pm? Wow, even earlier than I thought. Thanks for the reply.

Usually on grad night (we were there in June last year) DL closes at 6pm, but CA usually stays open till 9 or 10pm on those night just for that reason!!

We were there in June last year over two grad nights and for both of them, CA closed at 7 and DL closed at 9. They let the grads in CA first and then over to DL. DL opened at 8 all of those days, so we had plenty of time even with them closing at 9. We never saw anything close as early as 6 last June.

We'll be there June 11 - 18th but plan on doing something else on the days that are scheduled for grad night. I think Fantasmic starts up again that weekend also!

Boy I am glad I saw this thread. We are going to San Diego and DL that week. We will be driving up from SD the afternoon of the 12th and could possibly go to one of the parks on the 12th (in the evening) but then planned on hitting one of the parks on Wed and the other on Thur and then going to Knotts on Friday.

Does anyone know where I can get a list of the grad nights? If that is the case we may switch our days around. I may go to knotts on Wed instead of Friday if they are going to close early on Wed. Also is it common for them to do 2 grad nights in a row. Meaning wed and then thurs? That seems kind of unfair if you are there that week for just those 2 days like we are and then for the park to close early both of those days.

Any info would be GREAT!! Thanks.

The DCA Blast Off event will be offered all 7 days this year.

This should have no effect on the May regular operating hours.

But in June, especially the last three days, will require Disneyland to close no later than 9 PM, and DCA to close at 7 PM.

Thanks so much. Well I think I am going to change my plans then. I think we will go to DCA on wed, Knotts on Thursday and DL on Friday. Since I would assume as long as there is no Grad night it would most likely be open till 11 or 12 right? That way even if it is crowded we should get a long day right?

I am so glad I saw this thread so I can change my touring around!! Will be glad when the June hours come out so I can know for sure!!
