Grad Night or Weekend

We are going to Disneyland on May 21st, 2018 and had planned to go to California Adventure on the 22nd. I have since learned that the 22nd is grad night. Do you think it would be better (less crowded) to go to California Adventure on Sunday the 20th or should we just stick with the 22nd?

Thanks in advance! Just trying to make the most out of the days we have.

Both will be busy. Sundays are almost unbearable though...

I've had good experiences on the Sundays I've been in early summer...why do people say they are "unbearable"? Just curious...
