Grad night during the DAY

Just a warning.... we are here at WDW right now and tonight is a Grad Night. Well, the grads were in full force this morning early and apparently are staying all day. MK was a teenage nightmare. So if you're planning to hit a park on a Grad Night during the day I would expect long lines for popular teen rides and also lots of them running around.

Does anyone know when the Grad nights are and what park their in so we can try to avoid it?

Grad nights are always this time of year. This year they are April 25, 26 and May 2,3, and 10. The park is always MK -- it stays open almost all night for grads and there are bands.

May 10th? My understanding is that the last grad night is May 9th, the day I'm going (during the day--I'm not a grad).

Ok, so what would be better-Going to MK Friday May 9 (a grad night) or holding off till Mothers Day-I'm so confused!!!!

There was a grad night last night and the MK was not crowded during the day!

Grad nights are a great Florida tradition. The dates change each year. I'm really glad that Disney does this.

We were at DQ and the MK on Friday. Yes there was more grad's (high school seniors) but it was actually a lot of fun seeing them in the large groups and having good clean fun.

For me the only negative is they usually cancel the fireworks. ( I think) but it was raining so hard on Friday night they would have been canceled anyway.

There are never fireworks during normal operation on Grad Nite dates. Because of the time needed to get ready for the event, Fireworks or an evening parade would be counterproductive to clearing day guests from the park ASAP. Also, Sunset is after 8pm, so the timing is wrong as well.
