GRACO gear in DC

Hi!
I´m sorry about posting this here but I thought you guys might be able to help.
I will be flying to Washington DC next week and taking my DD 6 months along.
I really need to buy a travel system, stroller and car seat and want to buy the GRACO quattro tour system.

Since I don´t have much time and will not have a stroller with me when we arrive, nor have we rented a car, I really need to get it the first morning. We will be staying in Georgetown in DC, so if anyone of you knows a store that sells such stuff, not so far away, I would really appreciate it.

The travel system costs $200 in the US but approx. $800!!!!!!!!! here in Iceland.

Can you buy one online and have it shipped to the hotel?

Do you have any idea how long that would take? It would have to be in the hotel on wednesday, the day we arrive.
Are hotels usually willing to accept such big items shipped to them? Will they store it for me securely?

Call the hotel, I don't see why they wouldn't do that. If you ordered tomorrow or tonight it could be there by Wednesday with regular 3-5 day ship, or you could express it.

Amazon.com has it for $199.00, if you use code 913899 you'll get $20 off your order, and to have it there by Wednesday (it says it will arrive Tuesday) do the two day ship, the total w/ tax was $250 when I tried it. (It may be a bit less or a bit more depending on the address, I didn't have it, so I used mine). Thanks so much for the help. I called the hotel at they said it was no problem so I proceeded with ordering the stroller through amazon.com and used the 2 day shipping as you suggested. It will probably arrive tuesday which is fantastic. We arrive wednesday evening which means we can already put the baby in it on thursday morning. Great!

Which airport are you flying into? Depending on where you are coming into, I can give you directions to a store that should have what you need.

Just something to think about -- it's been too long since we put DD's together (over 6 years -- she turns 6 next week!) but, do you need tools to put it together? Will the hotel let you use theirs?
