So, now we have stuck our heads in the Frontier Land Stock, ridden the Barnstormer and walked through the Mouse House. Then I notice that we are right next to the tent where you can meet the fairies and I say without thinking to my children "Oh look! This is where you can meet the fairies!". Well, I wish I looked at the wait time before I opened my big mouth b/c it said 90 minutes

! Now, I know that long waits are often seen in WDW, but we really do not tolerate them and usually just move on and come back another time so I thought that the response to this news was going to be met with "Oh no way Mom!", especially by my DS. Boy was I wrong! Both my kids yelled "We don't care, we have to meet the fairies!!". My son was as adamant as my DD, which was a huge surprise to me. He kept saying "But we have NEVER met the fairies!". So, off I go into a 90 minute line with my DB, DS and DD5. My DH and baby DD went for something cold and many walks around the air conditioned gift shop. So for 90 minutes we heard about the wishes of all 3 of my children (In case you didn't catch that I am including my DB in this). DB wanted to meet Tinker Bell, DS Silvermist and DD Rosetta. I don't know how many times I said to them that we have no idea who will be there and that we might not be meeting any of these fairies so we better get used to the idea that we may be meeting Iredesa, Fawn and Clarence. Let me tell you, as good as my 3 children were that fairy line was ssllloooowwww! I forgot to say that when I was trying to talk my children out of waiting the CM said "It is worth it" and without meaning to I believe I rolled my eyes. This will be important later. Well, finally our turn came to go through the secret door with the 2 families in front of us. Then onto another hallway and another much shorter wait. Then we were let through another rope and asked to stand next to a specific mushroom (I believe that is what it was). All of a sudden, Rosetta appears as she walks over to the little girl and her mother who had been in front of us and were now in the Fairy Room. Out of pure excitement and joy my DD5 yells as loud as possible "Rosetta!!!". Then Rosetta turns and yells "Mainlander!". This was precious and alone was worth the 90 minute wait and we hadn't even gotten in the room yet.
So, now it is our turn. YAY!

We already knew Rosetta was there and she is who greeted us and took us in. DD5 was thrilled and couldn't stop looking at her. First, Rosetta had to make sure that Basil (DS) was ok being a pirate and all.
Once she knew he was ok, she demanded a hug from Basil who wasn't really going for it (a little nervous with being touched). That fairy was stubborn and she stood there until she saw a weak moment and then she grabbed him and stole her crushing hug. IT was so cute!
We couldn't leave without DD5 giving one more huge hug to Rosetta though!
Then to look and see who is next although we are certain that DB has already noticed because it is............Tinker Bell!!!!
She loved looking at DB's "shiny things" hanging around his neck that all looked just like her!
Then, Tinker Bell walks us over to our next Fairy and who is it but SILVERMIST!! Are you kidding me?? Talk about Disney Magic. We hit the jackpot and got all 3 fairy wishes!
Silvermist was very uncertain about the pirate heading toward her and she hid behind a flower until Tink convinced her he was ok. It wasn't until Silvermist checked his teeth that she agreed to meet us and Basil.
DS was so thrilled. He waited patiently for her to decide and I think he would have stood on his head if she told him to.
Here she is teaching them how to collect dew drops:
Before we left I told Silver that DS waited 90 minutes in the hopes of meeting her and that she was his favorite fairy and then she planted a HUGE kiss on his forehead, which was one of the most magical moments of this trip as far as I am concerned. Now, I thought he was going to be disgusted, but he had just the opposite reaction. When we finally walked out and I was rubbing his head saying "I can't believe you got a kiss from Silvermist!" I was expecting to have my hand promptly removed from his head but, instead he said "Mommy, can you see my kiss??" "Is it there still, where is it?" "Take a picture of it, quick!". Needless to say, I had tears in my eyes.
We have about 20 pics of this kiss because it was requested all day!! Talk about magical moments. A huge thank you to Tinker, Silver and Rosetta for all that amazing pixie dust!
Still on day 6 we will be off to more MK and then onto line dancing with the mice! Stay tuned.........
