Got a semi-decent night's sleep last night. About the best sleep I've had in 3 weeks.

Boy it is hot today, but it is a nice day to enjoy the fireworks.

We were at WDW during Halloween time years ago and never went to MNSSHP. It is the thing I regret most about my Disney misses. I hope to rectify that soon but will have a hard time now that Xander is starting school.

I really would like to try MNSSHP at the MK after going to MHP in 2010. Hopefully you will be able to go back to WDW during the Halloween season or MHP at DL in the future.

Thanks. I hope so. Prior to Crap switching jobs, we were planning a trip for our 10 year anniversary in October 2013. With that and Xander's school having a strict excused absence policy, it does not look like it will happen.

It's now official. My DB, his GF and I will be going to SoCal on August 13th to 15th next month. I did tell you Kim, Alison, and everyone that I might go back to the DLR to enjoy the rest of BVS and CL that I didn't experience (didn't see Storyteller's statue & ride Red Trolley). Excited to go back and try the Glow with the Show Ears for the nighttime events.

PIO - glad you launched your project, does this mean you get another two weeks off or so to switch companies?

I lost my glasses last night, after running around all morning looking for them, spending an hour + at Lens Crafters and getting my new prescription from March filled. I found them within 15 minutes of getting home. I haven't told Fran yet. I think I will "let" Darcy find them.

I know. It says they can kick him out for missing more than three days school unexcused. We may put him in public school after Kindergarten, so it may not matter. Hopefully, he can stay at that school though.

Yeah, well it was a $400 mishap. I was almost ready to go run and show them to her when I found them, but it wasn't a pleasant situation of losing to get into that I wish to get into online, so I haven't told her I have them. I'm not sure I like the new glasses either, so I have to come up with a good story and where Darcy can find them that doesn't incriminate me.

Good evening all and Happy 4th of July! Last night a bunch of us went to the River Cats baseball game and they had a great fireworks show afterwards. Today we've just had a quiet day at home.

We should be finished with the house by the weekend. Our new furniture doesn't arrive for a couple of week. It will be nice to get things back to where they belong.

This is my problem because of a couple things. One is DS has been a little sick and they send him home in a flash so he already misses a lot of days. The school is not like when I went where they could send a homework packet and be happy that you are doing the work on vacation. Plus since he splits the time with me and his Mom I'm avoiding being the one that takes him out of school for mulitple days and setting the precedent that she could too.

I came across some prescription sunglasses on top of the book drop at the library. I declined to take them and forgot to list them on an online lost and found directory.

Hopefully your 10th anniversary goes really well. It is tough when a child is going to school and can have a few absences for a trip.

I saw the dates during the trip and I was kind of sad that our trip is right after Destination D. Hope you have a great time at the WD Studio Tour in Burbank. I really would like to visit the WD Studios in Burbank. I was thinking of signing up on D23 to do the tour, but we can't go in September. I am hoping that they have good dates for next year. Also when I go back to SoCal, I want to visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum to see the D23 Presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives.
