It's now official. My DB, his GF and I will be going to SoCal on August 13th to 15th next month. I did tell you Kim, Alison, and everyone that I might go back to the DLR to enjoy the rest of BVS and CL that I didn't experience (didn't see Storyteller's statue & ride Red Trolley). Excited to go back and try the Glow with the Show Ears for the nighttime events.

That's awesome Bret. I am glad the trip will happen. It will be nice to read about what everything is like now that the initial crowds have slowed down but everything is still in the peak season. Hopefully, you get an AP EE. I hope you get to do everything you missed last time, including the Matterhorn.

It is really nice that I will be heading back to Anaheim to see CL & BVS during a busy time then during the preview. It will be very interesting to compare the preview and a regular day at CL & BVS. Hopefully it won't be that busy during our trip, but I do plan on being crowded. I just have sign up for the APEE on Tuesday the 14th at DCA and DL on the 15th. I don't plan on coming back to Anaheim until November during the Holiday trip. I am still having second thoughts of going to Anaheim during the Halloween season. I also am planning on riding the Matterhorn. Good thing that the DLR is offering the APEE so I can enjoy DCA & DL in the morning which you can take advantage of the EMH at the DLR hotels.

DLR during the Halloween season is very nice. I have went during the Halloween season the last two years and all the Halloween decorations on MS and Big Thunder Ranch is well decorated with those character pumpkin carvings. I really like riding Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy which was great. You and your family will like Mickey's Halloween Party just like you enjoyed MVMCP at the MK last year. All the party days are on Tuesday and Fridays. It would have been nice if Halloween would be on a weekend instead of a weekday.

We were at WDW during Halloween time years ago and never went to MNSSHP. It is the thing I regret most about my Disney misses. I hope to rectify that soon but will have a hard time now that Xander is starting school.
