I've had my iPhone 3G for 3.5 years now. It's survived a fall onto concrete and small ones to carpet. I got it a powersupport plastic case. While it's very simple. It did take the impact of the fall onto concrete.
As my friends brother dropped his brand new one about one foot onto the garage concrete completely smashing it (during the early time when it was a full fee replacement cost) I put the phone onto the home contents policy.
That policy just got renewed and the wording now covers any electrical portable device. So covers iPod iPad and iPhone.
It's slow with data and crashes if you stress it out trying to load data heavy pages. But it's still kicking along.
He has his own work laptop but prefers our personal one, so he left his work one at home and used our personal one at night to work. We have two PCs and had two laptops, but Xander broke the other laptop. I bought this one after Crap broke a different laptop. I do not want to invest in another laptop until this one breaks, which it is already in the process of doing. Xander has dropped it several times. We bought Xander a PC since he always drops laptops, but he keeps sneaking onto the laptop instead.
Wouldn't you know as soon as I catch you on here, I have to head out! I have rehearsal, but I'll be back in a couple of hours or so. Hope you'll be around!
