:rotfl: I'm going to a party for the weekend :) That's all I can really say about it, aside from that it's going to be fun :teeth:

Secret parties are the best!! Maybe you can tell us about it when you get back. If not, then I bet it is a really awesome secret society type party. Have fun.

Well, I CAN talk about it, just not on the Dis :) If anyone is THAT curious, feel free to PM me :)

Hi Kim :wave2: I saw that you finished your WDW TR and now started on the DCL, so I will check it out tonight.

Hey Bret. Glad you are doing the sneak peak to avoid the madness. People lining up too early stinks. They should all come in later and let me be first. :) Hopefully, the madness has died down by the time we get there.

Hi Kim. I'm glad that we have our trip all set up for next month and go during the sneak peek. I was surprise to see that there was another way to go to CL before the sneak peek.

Did you read on the Disney blog that they are doing a meet-up at Cars Land on Tuesday May 29th? That must be great to go, but they won't allow any photography or videotaping during the meet-up that day. So it wasn't worth going since I couldn't bring any camera equipment during the meet-up.

It does stink that people line up early, but they would do that in order to get in the park first thing. I can understand why they would wait that long in line just to be there first. At least it wouldn't be a crazy like on opening day when you have your trip in June.

We're going in on the 9th on that same preview deal that you are doing on the 10th. $50 for the 1-5 thing. We have an event early on the 10th so we need to be in bed early that night. We thought about the $500 dinner, but for that price it would have had to be something special, 10 courses not just three. Besides having to be in Weho early the next morning we gave it up.

I hope we don't have to be up too early to see the opening ceremonies. I have a feeling we will do that though.

Hope you and Fran have a great time at CL/BVS on the 9th. That does make sense that you have your time on Saturday then Sunday. That price for dinner at CCR was just way too expensive and you are right that it should be 10 courses then just 3.

Ohhhh. It's THAT type of party. Now, I know you're going to have fun. :yay:

I wanted to wrap up both reports before I leave for Disneyland next month, so I can start that one as soon as I get back. Thanks. I'll see you over there.

I did not know about the 05-29 thing. Unfortunately, I have not been invited to any of the fun pre-opening events. Those things are only for the special people, like you and Alison. It's okay. Crap is new at his job, so I cannot take more time off anyway. We really want to be there for Connor's first birthday. Carsland is just an awesome bonus.

I was just teasing. They are smart to do it. I am just jealous that the early risers always beat me to everything. Good for them though. They do not have to ride TSMM with a 50 minute wait. Hopefully, it will not be too busy when we go. If so, we will just take it slow and focus on the boys. They're the leaders anyway at times. I take a backseat.

That's enough for me, I think I know. is it in Chicago or this somewhere outside?

Anyone remember this picture from LAST year???

Well.....this quarter's photography competition at my work place was a foodie topic. I submitted it.

Guess what? I just found out. I took out the category judged by the professional photographer again. Another $200 gift card to the local photo shop coming my way!!!

:cool1: :cool1:

:lmao: What kind of party do you think it is? I'm curious now.

Was this the party for the dress-up????? :thumbsup2

Yeah, I figured you and PIO would know. The party's in Arlington Heights, which is about 45 minutes away from me. It's in a suburb of Chicago :)

Now, I am thinking my assumption was wrong and am intrigued. A dress up party that Princess knows about and Alison had a feeling is outside of Chicago?! I'll go with what is, I no longer have a clue, Alex?

I'll want pictures! Between you and Bret(t) and Kimberley, I'm hoping to see CARSLAND!!!!

WOW! How time flies!

BTW - I did go looking for that item in HK and in Melbourne. I figured that you thought you didn't need it but I still wanted to go seek. Nothing!!!

Ohh! Me! Me! Me!

What is Alicia Silverstone....Clueless???? ;)

ETA - We talked about this party maybe late last year or early this year. You might have missed it.

Aww, well, thanks for looking for me anyway!

Pretty! And yay for winning again! Do you still have the recipe for that? :teeth:

Hmmmm....lemme see if I can dig it up. But effectively it was an English (afternoon tea) scone and macerated stawbs with sugar on top.

Back in a tick....just gonna look for the recipe.
