How was your day?

I'm tired, we saw F! at 11:30 last night and got home really late. It was 2:20AM when I was feeding the kids and my helper was here at 9:15. We had to drive to Azusa (land of parade floats) to drop off the stuff for the Pride Parade this weekend. I STILL don't have a bass player and that makes me very nervous!!!!

Hi Bret, in another browser I am reading up on your TR. I am not happy to hear about how early people line up for the openings of things. At least all we want to do is see the opening ceremonies, we will have previewed the lands the weekend before, but Fran wants to see the opening ceremony. I want to go to the 1901 lounge. We don't care about riding the rides, so we'll see how it goes in June!

I know that it is disappointing that people would line up just for the opening of new rides, shows, etc. But those people would wait that long just to be in the park first thing in the morning. It was difficult when I did the WoC opening in 2010 and saw a huge queue just to get a FP.

You said that you were going to the preview on the 9th. I was wondering what kind of preview that you and Fran got in to go on that day? I saw that there will be a AP sneak peek on the 9th and 10th but you have to pay in order to go on those days. I got tickets for June 10th AP sneak peek at 6pm to 11pm. Looks like I am not going on the opening since I will be attending the sneak peek on the 10th and possibly on the 11th if we get chosen.

I hope you and Fran get to see the opening ceremonies on the 15th and get to go inside the 1901 lounge. Have you made reservations at Carthay Circle restaurant?

My sister turned 37 today (yesterday since it is after midnight). She keeps saying she is 38. I was asking her why she is trying to add years on. Aren't we supposed to take years off after 30. There are a lot of birthdays this week. My Uncle's is today.

Hey Bret. Glad you are doing the sneak peak to avoid the madness. People lining up too early stinks. They should all come in later and let me be first. Hopefully, the madness has died down by the time we get there.

We're going in on the 9th on that same preview deal that you are doing on the 10th. $50 for the 1-5 thing. We have an event early on the 10th so we need to be in bed early that night. We thought about the $500 dinner, but for that price it would have had to be something special, 10 courses not just three. Besides having to be in Weho early the next morning we gave it up.

I hope we don't have to be up too early to see the opening ceremonies. I have a feeling we will do that though.
