Thinking to what I've endured over the years...he is a teensy bit spoiled
As it looks better than what I've experienced...
And 8 nights in a bed with my parents would be a worse nightmare than anything...

You should have actually looked at getting an airbed? A double height one (so at the height of a low single bed) shouldn't have been too much...

Now I prefer a good french patisserie...
But for a chain they are nice...

DS is an only child. Naturally he's spoilt and not by a teensy bit.

DH went and tried it out on the second and 4th night.

DS went back there on the 3rd night.

And because I was sick, I ended up sleeping there on the last 3 nights. Afterall, I wasn't getting much sleep from all the coughing and it was better than keeping the boys up as well.

So it worked out in the end.

Real bummer about you getting sick. But for future reference there are really good airbeds out there and when you aren't in Australia...they don't cost an arm and a leg so you can just ditch them at the end

As for naturally spoilt...I know I was very spoilt. But the HOLIDAY was spoilt. You got to be there...
Putting my foot down came when I became a teen and brothers and sisters don't share a bed....and I don't like my mother's snoring and kicking

I actually don't know how I survived so long though. I guess the explosive ending to the last holiday showed the wear and tear because I had put my foot down for getting a REAL bed everywhere on that...


Anyways. Glad it worked out. But I think you've learnt the valuable lesson that DS will NOT tolerate a sofa bed. So that rules out many king bed and sofa rooms

Pretty cold at 10 degrees celcius. But some sunshine. Ireland has cold sunshine tho lol

I do feel old

To add to the fun I spent 10 hours in the office without leaving...

DH always says you're old once you hit 30. I disagree.

Thats about as fascinating as my day at work.

I picked my fight today and nearly won.

I have no energy I am walking around fully in a daze. When my kids were babies I worked nights and the Ex worked days. I never got enough sleep. So I understand. Heres a hug. Darn emoticons, the hug is missing in both spots.
