I haven't moved much but I'm the same. I move the kitchen and laundry first. And then the clothes and furniture. Although the musical instruments are the second things we move.

I feel out of sorts if the kitchen isnt put together. Although our refrigerator is to big so it has to sit in the garage until I can save enough for a smaller one. Also save for a washer and dryer.

My aunt in San Diego had her refrigerator in the garage too. She eventually saved to get a new kitchen.....and then had to get a new fridge as well because the old one didn't fit the look of the new kitchen. She still has two fridges. :teeth:

Although, I have to say that she saved for over 20 years before she got the new kitchen. It was way past time to re-do everything. Her stove wasn't properly working; the oven was wonky etc.

Well, at least I am not doing a kitchen. I just need to get some appliances. I can get them off of craigslist pretty inexpensive. What is for dinner tonight?

I packed a whole 1 box:rotfl2:
:yay:

I see you have a system though so I hope that all goes well.

My piano teacher a few years back finally splurged on getting herself a baby grand piano. It was apparently spectacular getting it in though

I'm starting to feel normal again. Just the coughing is annoying.

No. I might have to consider booking in to see a Chinese herbalist next week.

They scare me..... but I do hope you get some relief from somewhere

Mum usually does curry and rice; a couple of stir-fry vegetable dishes and some soup, the chinese kind.

I'm hoping for a chicken dish tonight.

It comes with the territory. I've been seeing Chinese Herbalists for years. Especially whenever I get a cough. My body seems to need the chinese herbs before it can get rid of the cough.

Now that you mention that , We live in an apartment which is standard of about 900 sq ft. There is a tenant who moved a grand piano in there. I would of loved to see how they got it through the front door. It was the only way to get it in. You cant play it without it disturbing the other neighbors

Sounds good. Boy , an herbalist that could scare you?

I don't get scared by herbalists anymore.. Used to when I was a child. They always seemed to know more things that I wanted to let on. But then they were always spot-on.

The legs can come off...
She lives in a house and has lived there I guess 30-40 years?
At some point they extended the house to add a room over the garage. They apparently lifted it through the back door on its side, then UP and OVER the railing for the upper room (some 10feet at least???)

Then they attached the legs up there

Might be time for us to start moving towards dinner at my mum's.

Might catch you later?

No I havent seen what is in an herbalist's drawers. Have a good dinner. Save me some.

Have a good night.

I might catch you tomorrow. It's Thursday and I'll be in and out most of the day.

I just have to hope they're wrong....

like usual....

:rolleyes1
