Grab a cup of coffee, or whatever & pull up a seat...it's another Last to Post!

Once again, I have no idea what the conversation is. Five pages moved in a few hours. That is why I drop by less often. Hello everyone. Will check back in sometime later this week maybe.

Don't worry...you're in good company. We just chat and poke fun at each other.

Actually I forgot about breakfast. We had a little kitchen in our hotel in Hong Kong proper and we were eating very scrappy breakfasts in there. It had a stove, a microwave, a kettle. But no plates and no pots.

We ended up buying instant porridge, bananas, bread, jam...and it wasn't until day 5 that we finally found some bowls to cook the porridge in the micro.

The hotel provided instant nescrape and it was so awful that I refused to drink it. We also had English tea; so at least I got some caffeine.

Oh....I should say that I did go to Pacific Coffee House (a chain like Starbucks) to get coffee...but it was even worse than the nescrape.

And before that little Ms Starbucks walking advertising says anything, I didn't go to Starbucks because I actually don't like Starbucks coffee that much. I love their frappaccinos but that's about it.

The walking billboard likes starbucks because you know what you're getting.
Their VIA sachets are the best easy and instant coffee around.

But in hong kong. The highlight was their desserts and sweet food. So good. And I'm quite fussy preferring French bakeries.
Their molten lava cake rivals French cakes.

I did get me some pictures from Maxim's.....

We just did so much that we didn't have the opportunity to stop for snacks most days.

They may be a chain but that pacific crap is NOT like starbucks except that it's a chain. You may as well equate it with KFC. It's a chain too.

Yup. Found that out. Equally as bad.

I prefer Peet's Coffee when in the US.

Cream and sugar.

Sleep well when it's your turn. Good Night.

Oh boy no coffee, I would have been having fits.Is starbucks in HK different from your home or the US? Did HK serve chocolate milk?

Your not missing much, they are just talking about chocolate.

The range of drinks varies. As in there are MORE options. But you can always get a brewed. Won't always be pike place, just depends.

The key difference is in the range of food. UK Has a bigger range of food. Hong kong has a huge variety. Australia has really nice food. If a bit pricy.

They do. Just depends on where you are.
If you're in the more Western areas you get more.
There is a British influence after all...and although Britain is known for bad food and worse weather........they are the home of Cadbury...
