Having a fire, or any kind of propane tank is a novel idea here...
OK you Aussies enjoy your night on the town. Us North Americans will hold down the fort!
Pretty simple -Seriously? Is that because of lacks of wood and gas?
We'll see what we can do.

I better get going now; otherwise, they'll be here whilst I still literally have my pants down.![]()
Very hot, stay hydrated. You will find people who sell bottled water on the streets everywhere. Wear comfy shoes. And remember nothing is as close as it appears. The duece bus runs 24/7 and is 7 dollars for a 24 hr period and even goes down to freemont st. I take the bus system while there. Have a great time today!![]()
I can understand that.If Sydney doesn't drop under 40 why have a fireplace or tank of a highly flammable liquid??![]()
If you like bacon and chocolate, inside Ceacars , inside through the front door of it there is a store that sells chocolate and bacon candy. YUMMY!!

We plan on visiting casion's today....
Time fore breakfast..
I can understand that.
But with gas, it doesn't answer the question.
Like Usnuz is saying people have propane tanks rurally. Cities have gas lines.
About 60 years ago homes had to be converted from coal, wether it was for heating or cooking. More or less times changed and you couldn't find local coal deliveries.
So things became electric, and a cheap alternative was gas.
Now gas is really cheap because the US is a giant net exporter. I'm guessing Oz always needed to import it and it's always been expensive there.
