Gotta question for the guys

I just asked my husband what his favorite part of Disney is and he answered "The flight home." :guilty:

If he's any type of sports fan take him to ESPN Zone on the Boardwalk or let him go on his own. Definitely give him some downtime or alone time if needed. Most every trip I find myself alone at the hotel hottub without the wife and kids just to unwind. Or if my wife notices the crowds are getting to me she tells me to grab a drink and go sit somewhere for a bit.

I truly, truly can't thank all of you enough! Tons of great ideas! I plan on using several of of them. It's not only important to me that he gets the enjoyment he deserves on this trip; but selfishly (another evil laugh) it could get my foot in the door for this being the 1st of MANY WDW trips :-) You DIS people are a God send to us newbies

We leave in 2wks for our 1st (blended) family trip. Hubs, me, & my (fairly new) 12yr stepdaughter. Us girls have really enjoyed our planning the past year, & no doubt we'll have tons of bonding while there. Hubs has stayed out of the loop. Kinda just along for the ride. What do you guys like to do/experience? Any suggestions knowing what you know now if it was your 1st trip? Any fave bonding things you enjoy with your tween daughters? With your wife? We'll be there 2wks & I want to ensure he enjoys it as much as us girls :-)
Of course, it depends on the kind of guy he is. My DH is a man's man, but he would do princess stuff all day long if that's what our two daughters wanted. He just wants us to be together. He does have a few favorite restaurants that I always try to get us into. When we have another family member along, I will make it a point to ride a roller coaster with him or something that we wouldn't normally be able to do with just us and our two girls.

Rofl reminds me of Jim Gaffigan's act where he said his favorite ride was the air-conditioned bus back to the airport.

My DD has been strongly into manga since she was a little one, practically otaku, so we found sharing time in Mitsukoshi (Epcot WS, Japan) looking thru the manga stuff as a shared experience.

You can never tell what will sweep someone up in the magic, you never know one whiff and Main St. and he might be running to get his mouse ears. If that doesn't happen some things my buddy we vacationed with (not a huge Disney guy like me) really enjoyed were Jellyrolls, we had a really great beer aided night there and the entertainment was top notch. Another thing he loved was Sum of All Thrills in Epcot. We're guys, we like building stuff, lol

Mine enjoys the resort and eating in good restaurants. That's really it. :)

My DH and our tween soon to be teen DD usual go to the park late at night for a snack and to watch the fireworks. Sometimes I go too. But to be honest, I like a little quiet time for me, plus it gives them some alone time to bond. If y'all are newly weds, your step-daughter might like a little special time with just her dad. I liked my step-mother growing up, but I always wanted just time for my dad and me. Just a thought.
