Our last trip to Disneyland for what will probably be several years (*sniff, sniff*) is fast approaching AND I'm busy making up a list of "Must Do's" to experience on this vacation.

Meeting Cinderella is in the top 5. Our children have been fortunate as far as characters go. They've had lots of wonderful, downright magical experiences with so many of them... but SOMEHOW Cinderella has always eluded us!

Anyone have any insight/advice/tips/tricks to increase our chances of having a nice little meet and greet with Cinderella (especially now that the Fantasy Faire is closed) while we're at DLR????

Get a list of the characters appearing each day at City Hall. From what I've read, Cinderella is often around the castle on one of the side areas. Next stop would be Ariel's Grotto for a meal. No guaranty Cinderella would be there but she is one of the regulars in rotation. GL!

That is a tough one because she has eluded us as well. :confused3
I even scheduled a ressie at Ariel's Grotto during our last trip after DD went to BBB and received a Cinderella makeover down to the gloves and glass slippers. I thought for sure Cindy would be at AG, but she wasn't...Jasmine was there instead.

I think you can go to guest services or city hall in the AM and they should have a character schedule available for the day. Even when PFF was open, you could always find Princesses over by Snow White's whishing well next to the castle. Perhaps you could find out when Cinderella will be there.
Good luck!

We saw her at Ariel's Grotto last week. That would probably be your best bet. The only other place I've seen her is in parades!

Aside from PFF, we've seen her both times we went to Ariels Grotto for lunch and even once at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner!

Is it? Weird, we were just there Wednesday. I didn't realize it was closing. Is that because they're making another area for the princesses & turning that spot into something else?

I believe the Fantasy Fair is being moved to the area where the villans are found near small world. I guess we were lucky on our last trip... We saw Cinderella twice! Once at Ariel's and at PFF. (my daughter's a belle fan, but DS2 LOVES "the blue princess"!)

We were there on Monday and PFF had been relocated near It's a Small World, just around the corner from where you'll find Merida from Brave. We got there when it first opened and Cinderella was there but when we passed by later she was gone. If she's not there when you go, ask a CM and they can give you an approximate time as to when she will be or where else you might find her.

Last year, DD desperately wanted to meet Mulan so we asked around and found out that she would be at PFF in the afternoon. We went shortly after lunch and got in line and asked a CM if she was there. He said yes but that she was going to leave in a few minutes, well before we would make it to the front of the line. He knew DD was disappointed so he made arrangements for her to go back and meet Mulan before she left. She got an autograph and took pictures and that was the highlight of her trip!

Good luck!

On a trip a few years ago, Cinderella was TOP priority for my niece. We booked Ariel's Grotto, and she wasn't there, so we asked for the character schedule, and even spoke to some CMs. They told us she'd be at the left of the castle at a certain time, and we waited there before she came for 45 minutes in the sun, but sure enough, she showed up, and was so sweet and attentive to my niece. My niece felt that it was well worth the wait. The line was LONG, we were in the first 7 groups, but there was about 30 people behind us, and they cut them off.

Thank you everyone for all the good advice! We'll definitely check with City Hall for the list of character appearances and keep our eyes peeled where they've relocated the Princesses near iasw. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this trip that we'll have an encounter!! Thanks again! :goodvibes
