Just found a Camera and printer doc with an extra card cartridge and paper (last two cost extra of course) for a grand total of 214.16 (and it will be cheaper because we will do a store pick up and it will be free shipping and handling)

Basically this means my plans for the little ones autograph/photo book will now work! We can go back to the room at the end of the day and print up his pics with the autograph and have them ready to go the next day...Cant wait.

the thing hes not saying is we were gona get a cam that could record (this one can) for no more then 250.. and for less then that we get the printer thing that we had wanted any ways.

Yes he thinks its all for the kids auto book. but i had wanted this stuff before. but its all for disneyland. so we both get what we want cheaper then we planed and will use this like alot (i love pics but cant stand picking out what ones to take and have printed up at store)

any one ever use one these print pic cam and printer (no comp needed) :thumbsup2

They are significantly more expensive than just getting your pics printed at any number of places. I dont mean the cost of the printer, just the paper and ink, not including the printer price. Ink is disasteriously expensive. My gf always wanted one but its significantly more than getting pictures done elsewhere it seems. Ive done the odd picture on my regular printer and they come out very nice. You pay for the convience of not going to the store, so it may be worth it for you.

Where I am, wal mart is always more expensive and behind on cameras than the other big boxes like Best Buy. Strictly talking about the printer, prints are 13 cents a print here at wal mart, and again they aren't the cheapest for digital picture prints around here. They frequently have sales, maybe to compete with the other places. The problem with those printers is as I said before, the ink. Depending on the printer, but with many of them, if you run out of say red, thats it, need new ink. Even the higher end ones that have individual colors still broke down to be more per print by more than a bit when all broken down. The cheaper the printer, generally the higher cost per print, but you can look it up on various reviews for specific models.

Well the abilty to just print it when we get back will be great...since we wont have a car and such...and he'll love being able to print it right up and put it in his book. But yeah I can understand the ink being wholly too expensive...

i know the ink will be excpincve but i still think its worth it

Most places will show you examples of the prints, I doubt wal mart does, but maybe you can find the same model elsewhere, sounds like the printer will be perfect for you, enjoy :).

We had one, I used it a few times. It's okay if you just have a few pictures to print. I'd never do a whole Disney vacation on it though! Would go through so much ink and paper. Not to mention it prints so darn slow! Be there all day! LOL

Now I just go to Walmart with my sd card and load it up. My cheaper and easier on my wallet! LOL

lol this ones faster then others, also its now a canon not kodak. and no way are we doing a whole vacation on it only some pics the ones he gets with auto graphs and we will print them up and put them in his book right at the hotle.

we found one that comes with 30+ paper and ink and a better camra one that i could easely pay 230 for alone. this bundles 219, then we will get mem card and battery charger and another set of 50 pages and print and be set for the vacation.

I can see this coming in hand at sons bday and christmas im not gona print every pic up lol ill still take cd or mem card to wal mart or wallgreens and be like prints please lol

Glad to hear they make them faster now. Thought I was gonna go bonkers waiting for one picture to be made! My ds loved watching it though. LOL I think I would have used it more if it was faster. It also kept getting messed up I think. It was a Kodak.

Funny thing is it still sits on my desk. Paper weight now. LOL

We will bring it to DL in a few weeks along with the SLR and the camcorder. Technically, it was a present for our six year old, for her scrap book. The prints are not cheap, but look great and it is very convenient.

I think the model we got is the HP photosmart A440 printer and the m447 camera. they dock together, but it looks like the same mini usb cable that my xm, garmin and other stuff use. The camera is easy to hook up to the printer and also to a pc.

Great prints anyway.

That sounds cool...I wanted our son to have the pics for his autograph book soon. Not have to wait until we got home and then when we finally got around to printing up the pics and stuff...and since we have no car getting a cab to the nearest walgreens or walmart would be a pain..this is really our best bet I think...

this is the one were looking at now. we were told not to get kodak so ill trust his mom on this since she worked with camras and stuff.

this ones a canon and it is littler then the kodak one we were looing at. I read some where it takes less then a min to print up a pic.
The camra it self looks good and excatly what im looking for.

We are gona look at other places but so far this is what were getting. if other places are cheaper well we will get it there. we just decied to check walmart first. but eathier way its all for our trips to disney land

Seems like a good deal, separately they'd be about 230 I think. I like that camera a lot, I have no experience with the printer. I personally dislike kodak cams too.
