Gotta Love SWA, saved money AND got a full refund!!!

WOOHOO!!! I just saved $231 on our late June trip. We originally had Internet special fares that dropped significantly. I called the SWA customer service number just for the heck of it and they said, sure, we will give you a credit on your Amex instead of leaving the funds a future travel funds.

That more than covers our rental car and leaves enough left over for some snacks or Dole Whips...

Thats why i travel SW. I'll gladly give up a tv and pre assigned seats any day for the ability to change to a cheaper price ticket any day.

Refund now? I did the same thing, and was told ok, but refund won't appear on my CC until after I travel.

That happened to us last year when we flew and we got our refund right away. SW is great.
