on the theme park and attractions board, there are pages about these shoes called Crocs. I wasn't sure about them because they are soooooo ugly. I have OA in my left knee plus I am flat footed, so I wasn't sure about them.

All I can say is WOW. Its like wearing a piece of foam rubber on your feet. Its like walking on a cloud. This is the first time in I can't remember how long that my knee didn't kill me when I got up this morning!!

Now I will just have to see how well they wear, because I may be getting one in every color, ugly and all!!!!

They're definetely not that attractive but what "water shoe" is?? I may get the kids some for our cruise. I like that they don't harbor odors. Nothings worse then the smell of a day old water shoe :faint:

I just bought Crocs myself, and do love them. I have high arches that seem to be falling and have had bone spurs in the past. I bought balck Metro Crocs with the holes on the sides but not on the top. They also had a style with no holes at all, but the shoe salesman said those can get hot in the summer. I can't wait to buy a pair of the sandals when they come in next month. I've been a bit of a shoe snob and usually only will wear high quality leather shoes, but I love these!

These look cool, but I worry about blisters. Did you have any problem with that?

How about sweaty feet too?

I just wore them all day yesterday, but so far no sweaty feet or blisters! I'll keep you posted!

I haven't had any problems with sweaty feet or blisters either, but I do wear socks with them when I wear them with jeans or pants. I think I remember seeing on the other thread that they are made out of a material that doesn't cause your feet to get sweaty.

I've had my Crocs for about 6 months and haven't had any problems. They are so comfortable.

Since they are made here in Colorado, lots of adults and kids have been wearing Crocs for awhile. My daughter had 3 pairs since they must match her clothes :)

6 days, and no blisters! More important no pain!! DS, 19 and Dh both bring them to me in the morning!! :rotfl2: THey are SOOOOooooo UGLY! ewww!! But, I've had a problem with 'bone spur/plantar f.... somethin" and it is liking walking on glass, so hard hobbling around, never put solid weight on it... read that thread on the Theme board, went to the mall, wandered in the Outdoor shoe store, and viola, ok, fine... tried them on, and thought, well why not, $29... (but egads are they UGLY!)

I cant believe the difference!! My feet also "pronate" (my ankles roll in/turn in, looks like they touch the floor!) so I tend not to wear shoes, love going barefoot... well, gee, I can walk... wow, I can put weight on my foot...huh, go figure, I dont need my cane after a long day shopping!! BUT LOOK HOW UGLY THEY ARE!! :rotfl:

Yep, from time to time, they do get 'sweaty' I take them off, or go outside! (its still cold, snowing today!!) but NO SMELL!! hmmm, they remind me of the material my dad got for the lake we sit/float on...

but have I mentioned how UGLY they are?? :teeth:

I saw these yesterday when we went shopping. I noticed a lot of people had them at the mall we went to, but they have not hit our small town yet. I think they are hideous, but so were those plastic Melissa shoes that I bought three pairs of last year. As long as they are comfy then there is no problem. I can walk in rubber flip-flops all day and not have problems so I probably won't need to invest in these.

Oh god. One of the nurses I work with has been wearing a brown plastic looking pair with white socks and blue scrubs for the past few nights.

I can't even bring myself to look at them...They make me cringe!

LOL! I just told someone else that asked me what I thought of her new shoes the very same thing.

Then again, I hobble along in uncomfortable (but cute! :p ) shoes everyday, so she is probably having the last laugh. :rotfl:

After reading the Theme Parks Board thread on these, I ordered them. But they are SOLD OUT in the color/style/size I want!!  Customer service told me to check back in a few weeks! I want mine because if they work, I want to get a pair for DS for Disney. Oh, the agony of waiting!

I think these are so cute!!! I just bought a white pearl pair style Metro!!!! being in so much pain....it sounded good! I will try anything once!
thanks

I was talking to a nurse in our local hospital one day and she loves them, said they were the most comfortable she has found in a long time.

I will have to email my mom the page again, I told her she should try a pair because she has trouble with her one knee and sometimes she has trouble just walking in her sneakers.

Seriously these must be some ugly shoes because every page I go to to try and see them doesn't have the pic come up.... :)

I went back to get a pair of black ones today to wear to work and they were out!!! The salesman told me they can't keep them stocked, they sellout as soon as they get them!! I guess I will have to wait a few days! Day 2 and they still feel great!!!

I'll pass, but thanks anyway!

They look like nurse's clogs to me, except with a strap in the back. :confused3

I jsut got a pair today, the highlanders in black....man these are COMFY shoes. I haven't tried them at work yet, but I think they'll help....they do make my feet sweaty though, but maybe I just have naturally sweaty feet :confused3 yes they are ugly, but if I'm not limping in pain after work like I usaully am then I don't care what they look like....

They are really quite the rage here these days. You see them everywhere. Teens are wearing them to church. I thought Birkenstocks were ugly when I first saw them, too. Now I don't give them a second thought.
