Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

I still need to post Niagara pictures here. Went to weigh in last night. Lost 1.6 pounds this week. Woo Hoo!!! :woohoo:

Thats really good. You are doing really well :thumbsup2

That's awesome! I'm starting my own fitness program this week. It's called "put the cookies down and step away from the fridge!" My goal is to lose 8 pounds. We'll see. Girl Scout cookies get delivered this weekend, so I'm probably a goner.

Love the name  Good luck and keep away from the Girl Scout Cookie Seller :goodvibes

Yay for September park hours! :woohoo:

I saw that only 9/1 was posted. I clicked on it, then clicked on next day and was able to see all of September one day at a time. Yay me! I am now able to rearrange my days and start finalizing plans. I am so happy about that! I did a bit last night and will need to finish. I will post the final itinerary once done.

Today is Joe's birthday. Every year we take a trip with another couple to Niagara Falls (the Canadian side) for his birthday. It is also my friend's birthday trip since her birthday is the week before. We look forward to our little get away every year and hope that we don't lose out butts at the casino.

I thought I'd post pictures of the trip. Niagara Falls is absolutely beautiful in the winter time. We stayed at the Sheraton. There are two of them there with similar names and every year I end up getting even more confused.

Part of the fun is gambling at Casino Niagara. Can I just say that we didn't do well this year. I doubled my money but I kept going like a fool. :rolleyes1 Our first dealer was Peter. He was awesome. He took a break and we got Alice. OMG, she took everyone's money!! :scared1:

We spent Friday evening having fun in the casino and ended with dinner at the Hard Rock. It was tough for me, being on a diet and all. I have to say this though. The absolute worst service in the entire world is at the Hard Rock, Niagara Falls. OMG, we were there over an hour waiting for food. Happens every single year....without fail. Why do we go back you ask. Because, we're stupid and think the service will change. lol

We did some shopping the next morning. I love all of the quaint little shops in that area.

We walked over the falls. It was cold but worth it.

Our final stop was at the duty free store. Anyone ever tried root beer vodka? Got a bottle...and grape too. Curious on how they will be. I also got a bottle of sparkling ice wine. I love that stuff!!!!

After duty free, we headed over the Peace Bridge and back to the good old USA.

Looks like you had a great trip :) It looks quite pretty in the snow :)

You must let us know what the drinks taste like, sounds quite cool :)

OH MY!! The falls are just beautiful!!!!! I've never seen the falls before but I'm hoping someday soon!!

They are incredible. It's such an awesome experience!

Since today is Joe's birthday, maybe we will need to break out the root beer vodka? My thought was to put a shot in root beer and add ice cream. What do you think???

Niagara looks beautiful! We've never been, but its on my 'bucket list.' I did hear from my cousin who went last year, that everything there is very expensive relative to U.S. prices. I think she paid 19.95 for a Grand Slam at Denny's.

Love the name  Good luck and keep away from the Girl Scout Cookie Seller :goodvibes

Big problem - I AM the Girl Scout cookie seller! I'm the leader of both my daughters' troops! In fact, I'm getting ready to go unload boxes in about an hour at my cookie manager's house. Gotta say a prayer for willpower first!

Late to replying, but did you go for the ice cream idea? Sounds pretty cool actually, vodka root bear ice cream float :goodvibes

Oh gosh, well that doesn't help.

Did you sell lots in the end?

It seems this trip that the exchange rate wasn't so bad. There are times though when the prices remind me of "Disney prices." :rolleyes1

I LOVE Girl Scout cookies. OMG, I miss them so!!! I am trying so hard to be good since I am in Weight Watchers. What I would do for a thin mint right now..........

I didn't do the root beer float yet. Being on a diet has also made me hold off on trying it but it does sound so good, doesn't it?

I haven't had root beer for ages, but it is rather nice. Maybe you could skip the ice cream then and just drink it instead, or use low fat ice cream :)

You could do, or another idea, how about you freeze it and then once frozen blend it so it becomes like a slushy, awesome :woohoo:

Ah right, cool. You must let us know how the frozen root beer tastes :)

Whats ice wine like?

Ice wine is very sweet. It is like a desert wine. I love it. I've had the apple ice wine and the grape ice wine so far. I also like it sparkling. Not quite as many bubbles as champagne but just enough. If that makes sense? We get our ice wine from Canada.

I will let you know once we try the root beer slushie!

Yum sounds nice. Me and Dave aren't big wine drinkers, but I do like Rose. Can you get ice wine in Disney do you think?

Okay all caught up. I love the "retro" disney pics. Your nephew is adorable and letting you see BaTB since it was your favorite was so sweet.

Loving the Niagra Falls pics. We used to always go up there for Spring break when I was younger and I miss it. I love seeing the falls all frozen, it makes for such a different experience.

So what are you thinking about for your ADR's? Do you have alist of must do's?

We're not big wine drinkers either but I love the ice wine. I wonder if they sell it at the Canadian Pavilion at Epcot? I've never really looked for it at Disney before. :confused3

I am getting ready to post my ADR selections now. I did the document in Word and will copy and past on the next post.

I'm going to do more retro pics today too. With the weather here in Cleveland so craptastic, I am in full swing planning mode this weekend!
