It still makes it look like Palo Brunch for the later sea day of my voyage is available only for me to get a "fully booked" message when I try to get a reservation 🤣

That happened to me on a recent cruise, I assumed it was because I was a solo diner and I couldn’t be bothered to phone up!

I don't think it's because of solo dining since I'm reserving for two people & Remy brunch is sold out. I wonder if it's accidentally showing reservations they're holding back (I know they hold a handful for embarkation day stuff).

It's a known thing, it's super frustrating. Even if there is a table available, if your party size doesn't exactly match the number of seats at the table, you'll get that message. So, if you're trying to book for a party of 2 and the only table size available is for 4, it won't let you book it (even though your party would fit at that table). That's why it doesn't say sold out, because it's not, it just errors out because your party size doesn't match the table size.

They might only have availability left for more than 2 people. I've heard others say that a table for 2 sold out while tables for 4 or 6 were still available. Or it could just be Disney's terrible IT. Haha

I feel like having a big enough table for 2 & not being able to book a table that fits you is a symptom of that terrible IT. 🤣 My GF & I were able to get a table ahead of our cruise on the Dream back in April & they definitely sat us at what could essily be a 4-6 top (6 might've been crowded).

Oh well. Just a culmination of wonky IT & the cruise being a Merrytime one. Third sailing (1st on Fantasy) & I got a lot of other things I wanted despite being silver (prioritized the beverage tastings this time and there was a Chocolate & Liquor one available on the first sea day). Plus I got a Palo dinner the last night. Not that I won't keep checking of course 😅.

They may not want to fix it, as they may be holding out the tables that can handle 4 people to see if a larger party will take advantage of it. Pretty sure that once you are on board, all of the tables become available.

I'm 3 for 3 for getting Palo brunch reservations, but for each, I had to repeatedly check for availability. I never got them initially; I had to wait for someone to cancel, so I typically checked every day or two for something to come up.

Agreed. I'm not sure if it's an IT issue or how they have it set up (the system is doing exactly what it's supposed to do). Either way, it is annoying for the end user. I've always had good luck checking when I get on board.

This is probably true & I'm honestly not terribly concerned about it. I honestly just want to have more time to do other things than run around trying to get reservations (my only intended stop is going to be the Spa to try & get rainforest room passes). If I don't get the brunch reservation, no big deal. 🤷‍♂️ (besides, I had their brunch twice already).
